Why am I doing this?

For the past two years walking has become a big part of my life. I'm just about to complete my second walk 1000 miles in a year challenge. My journey of doing more walking started during Covid when social distancing was in force and walking was a way to stay active.
As I'm now walking in excess of 1500 miles a year I've been drawn to various fundraising events including this new one to me, March in March. Any and all charities that support our brave veterans and their families is a worthy cause and I want to play my part in contributing to the invaluable work of these organisations.
That's my blog, possible more of a verbal ramble. Let's bring on the serious ramble in March and get those miles and donations in.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
