The impact you make
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century we’ve been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues.
Your support can be life-changing
Now more than ever, veterans rely on us and we rely on our supporters. We believe military trauma shouldn’t destroy the lives of veterans and their families. When a veteran is having a tough time, we’re there to help tackle the past and to help them take on the future. By taking part in March in March, your fundraising efforts will make a huge difference to the lives of the former servicemen and women who turn to us for support.
Last year, March in March raised an incredible £299,905 which could pay for over 4,000 hours of our Helpline.
For many veterans, the Combat Stress Helpline is the first step toward recovery, offering compassionate support for mental health issues like suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, and trauma. A call to our Helpline provides the first step for veterans to begin their journey toward better mental health in a safe, supportive environment. Last year our Helpline was contacted over 16,000 times.
