We didn't conquer the mountain, but we tried so hard

On Saturday our group set out to climb Ben Nevis to raise money for Combat Stress. We started early and carried full packs. The route covered more than 20 kilometres across the day. Weather and conditions on the mountain forced us to turn back before the summit.

We did not reach the top. We made the decision to stop for safety. Mountains do not care about plans. You respect the conditions or you risk people getting hurt. The right call meant ending the climb early.

Even without the summit, the reason for the climb still stands. Combat Stress supports veterans who deal with trauma, stress, and mental health struggles after service. Many people live with these challenges every day. The work Combat Stress does gives them access to treatment, support, and someone to speak to when they need help.

Your donations still go directly to that work.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the challenge so far. Your support means more than the result of a single climb.

Climbing Ben Nevis for Combat Stress

Next month, I will be climbing Ben Nevis with a group of friends to raise money for Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. This is a cause that means a lot to me, especially as some of the people taking part are currently serving in the armed forces.

Through my streaming and gaming community, I have met and built friendships with people connected to the military. This challenge is a way for me to show support and give back. Combat Stress provides specialist treatment for veterans dealing with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, and their work changes lives.

This climb will be tough, but it is nothing compared to the challenges many veterans face. Every donation helps support those who have served and ensures they get the care they deserve.

Thank you for your support.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
