Support my March in March - Glenfinnan Walk In
This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I would like to honour their sacrifices and help raise some much needed funds by taking on their March in March challenge.
My own personal challenge will be to 'walk in' from Glenfinnan to Inverie, a walk of around 29 miles with 6000 feet of climb. Typically a still challenging 3 day walk in, because of the tricky terrain and climbing, I'll be trying to complete it in a single day. (I'll be taking a head torch!)
