Walking the Clarendon Way - Salisbury to Winchester

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March a team of us will be walking between Salisbury and Winchester Cathedral with an overnight stay in Broughton.  Any one is welcome to join us for part or all of the route.  We have a great gang of people marching all with a personal story.

Cat has raised an amazing amount of money in memory of her late partner Matt who was in the Fire Service and I will, as always be walking in Memory of Rich.  We lost both men last year, both had experienced PTSD following their service for us and others.

Combat Stress have assured me that awareness is as important as donations so thank you for reading this quick blog and we will no doubt bombard social media with posts over the weekend.

Many thanks for all donations to date.  Your donations go directly to Combat Stress and help veterans get the psychological assessment to start them on their journey to life after combat.

In Memory of Rich and Matt - 28/29 March

Walking the Clarendon Way in Memory of Rich O Regan.

At the end of March, we will walk the Clarendon Way from Salisbury to Winchester in memory of Rich.

This two-day walk, with an overnight stay along the route, is a chance to reflect. Following quiet countryside paths through Wiltshire and Hampshire, the journey offers space for conversation, silence, and shared purpose.

Rich’s loss is a reminder that many people carry unseen struggles. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can affect veterans long after service ends, and too often the support needed is hard to access or comes too late.

By walking in aid of Combat Stress, we are turning remembrance into action. Combat Stress provides specialist mental health care to former servicemen and women living with PTSD, helping them find stability, hope, and a way forward.

We are walking to help ensure others get the support they deserve.

Please support our walk and donate if you can. Every contribution helps change a life.

Support my March in March for Rich, Matt and Combat Stress

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
