One Week (Or so) to go!

I haven't updated for a while as its been a busy time. I completed the Cardiff 10KM in September and everything went well. I had to reduce the training over October but I've been able to go out for a few light runs this week,

My fundraising is not as good as it should be this year, so if you're reading this and able to make a donation, thank you. 

Just over a week before the "Race to Remember" and it'll be a poignant weekend for many in the Armed Services community., friends, family and those who've served and been impacted by that service. 

Quick Update - August

Two weeks to go until the Cardiff 10KM then the longer running will begin. 

It has been a busy 12 months but I'm looking forward to the challenge of the next 8 - 10 weeks before the race. It was such a good occasion last year. 

Caerphilly 10KM

First race of the year this weekend. I'll be taking part in the Caerphilly 10KM. Usually a good crowd and then some more training for the Race to Remember before the Cardiff 10KM in September.

This year I will be taking part in Race to Remember to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on Race to Remember to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
