This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

First of many March in Marches

Thursday 7th Mar
So on Sunday the 24th of March myself and two great friends Richard Murgatroyd and John Barnett will take part in our first March in March event. 
Richard and John are Vetrans and it will be an honour to be joined by them on our walk here in Holyhead ,North Wales.

The plan is that we will start the walk at the front of the Boathouse in Holyhead and then walk the Breakwater and back , along the coastline path all the way to North Stack. From here we will head for the summit of Holyhead Mountain, then back down and over to South Stack. We will then make our way back to the Boathouse where we had started ,whether it be the direct route or the longer coastline rout which will take in more of our beautiful coastline here in Holyhead. 

Fingers crossed we will have some good weather as it will be John's Birthday and he will need to blow the candles out of his cake on top of the mountain lol
