I am in my 50th year and as such have been setting myself a number of challenges, I have already completed a couple of cycling events, the Fred Whitton (112 miles) and the Dragon ride (132 Miles). I have now entered  Race to Remember (combatstress.org.uk) (see below) and am taking the opportunity to raise funds for veterans’ mental health. I would be very clear that I am looking upon this as an attempt (no guarantee of completion or even getting to the start line without injury) and any sponsorship/donation is with that in mind. This is self-funded entry so all sponsorship will go directly to the charity. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and there is a link below for those willing to give.

Support my Race to Remember

This year I will be taking part in Race to Remember to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on Race to Remember to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
