Lets go!!

Good morning all.

Just wanted to jump back on Facebook to say thank you for the donations to mine and jack's Combat Stress #MarchInMarch fundraiser. The response has been incredible so far and we'd like to keep it going as we get ready to start our effort next week.

So, where are we and what are we doing?

At present we have just shy of £700 in total donations. Which is brilliant to see and again thank you for your support.

What are we doing?

Well the plan had been to do 10mile marches 3 times a week within the regiment and raise as much as we can, unfortunately life gets in the way, as many will know, we are an exceptionally busy regiment. Training exercises, deployments and all sorts of "earn your money fun" means we wouldn't be able to do a cohesive program of events within the regimental bubble.
So, bottom line? We will be conducting our 10 miles marches and recording them for your enjoyment in our own time.
Starting from next week, you'll be seeing Strava updates, pics and videos of us yomping about and racking up the miles.

There is a rather silly idea bubbling up in the back of our heads for a bit of a grande finale. This will only be possible with the regiments help, and while I'm away I will be discussing the ins and outs with my bosses to request permission.

Finally, thank you again to combat stress for all the work they do. We've never been on a 2 way range like a lot of the people they support, but we've worked with people that have benefitted from their expertise.

Thank you for your support and donations, please help us reach as high a target as we can, and I promise you well do the miles to earn every penny you give.

Good health and safe travels

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
