We Marched in March

On Thursday 19^th March, in glorious sunshine, three military veterans from a Balfour Beatty Vinci construction compound completed the 10-mile March in March around the beautiful village of Napton in the Warwickshire hills.  Starting and finishing at The Folly Inn, the intrepid trio made two five-mile laps of the village, one clockwise, the other counterclockwise.  

Raising awareness of mental health and general wellbeing is equally important in the construction industry where too many people suffer in silence.  And there’s no better way to work on our mental and physical health than to get out into the fresh air, climb the hills and take in the far-reaching views, towering trees, colourful spring flowers and abundant wildlife.

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
