It was a glorious Saturday morning. We all gathered and set off on our task with a range of abilities from a sugar full 10 year old girl, 2 dogs and about 20 adults, one having limited range of movement due to a car accident. We reached the summit, acknowledged absent friends, took a few photos and made our way back down. A great day spent with some fantastic people who shared a common purpose. For Andy Lucas. Good morning all, I'm raising money for Combat Stress in honour of a buddy of mine, Andy Lucas, that passed last month. I'll be doing the 10km 'March in March' up Pen-Y-Fan, carrying weight. This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
