Getting Ready for March: My 10‑Mile Challenge for Veterans

It’s only January, but I’m already preparing for something meaningful coming up this March. I’ve signed up to raise funds specifically for veterans’ mental health — an area that deserves far more awareness, support, and conversation.

This March, I’ll be taking on a personal challenge: running 10 miles in a single day to help raise money and shine a light on the mental health struggles many veterans face long after their service ends. For some people, 10 miles might be a casual run. For me, it’s a real challenge — and that’s exactly why I chose it. I want the effort to reflect the importance of the cause.

Between now and March, I’ll be training, building up my stamina, and getting myself ready both physically and mentally. I’ll also be sharing updates along the way — the good runs, the tough ones, and everything in between.

As we get closer to March, I’ll share details on how you can support the fundraiser if you’d like to get involved. Every bit of encouragement and every donation helps make a difference for veterans who deserve proper mental health support.

For now, January is all about preparation — putting in the miles, building confidence, and getting ready to run with purpose.

Getting Ready for March: My 10‑Mile Challenge for Veterans

We’re only in January, but I’m already gearing up for something important happening this March. I’ve officially signed up to raise funds for veterans — a cause that means a lot to me — and I’ll be taking on a personal challenge to support it.

At some point in March, I’ll be running 10 miles in a single day. For seasoned runners, that might sound easy. For me… it’s definitely a challenge. But that’s exactly why I chose it. I want the effort to mean something. I want every mile to reflect the respect and gratitude I have for the veterans this fundraiser supports.

Over the next couple of months, I’ll be training, planning, and probably questioning my life choices at least once. But I’m excited. I’m motivated. And I’m committed to making this count.

As March gets closer, I’ll share updates, training progress, and details about how you can support the fundraiser if you’d like to get involved.

For now, January is all about preparation — building up the miles, building up the confidence, and getting ready to run with purpose.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
