London Marathon 2027

I’m Running the 2027 London Marathon!

I’m delighted to say that I’ve been given the opportunity to run the 2027 London Marathon for Combat Stress.

This will be my first marathon and by far my biggest running challenge yet. Over the coming months, I’ll be putting in the miles and sharing updates on my training and fundraising as I work towards taking on 26.2 miles in London.

Having served for 4½ years in the British Army with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, Combat Stress is a charity that means a lot to me. They provide specialist mental health treatment and support to veterans across the UK, making a real difference to former servicemen and women when they need it most.

I’m incredibly grateful to Combat Stress for giving me this opportunity and proud to be raising money for such an important cause.

I’m looking forward to sharing the journey over the coming months as the training and fundraising gets underway.

Support my challenge

I’m incredibly proud to be taking on the 2027 London Marathon in support of Combat Stress.

I served for 4½ years in the British Army with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. After leaving the military, I found the transition back into civilian life much harder than I expected. Running became a huge part of helping me find structure, purpose and something positive to work towards again.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, providing specialist treatment and support to former servicemen and women struggling with their mental health.

That’s why running the London Marathon for Combat Stress means so much to me. Having experienced first-hand how difficult the transition from military to civilian life can be, supporting a charity that is there for veterans when they need help is something I’m incredibly proud to do.

Taking on 26.2 miles will be my biggest running challenge yet, but knowing I’m doing it for a cause that means so much to me will make every mile worthwhile.

I’d be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Every contribution will help Combat Stress continue supporting veterans when they need it most.

Thank you for supporting me — see you at the finish line!
