Corps Security's Coast to Coast

On the 18th to 21st September, Corps Security hikers are undertaking a 4 day, 149km / 92.5 mile trek, from coast to coast – all in aid of Combat Stress. The event will be attended by employees, clients, and suppliers of Corps Security & they asked me to join them which I will for 3 of the 4 days covering approx. 70 miles miles (19th, 20th & 21st Sept)

Starting on the beach of Bowness-on-Solway, they will walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall to the final destination of Whitley Bay. The route will cross the Pennine Way at Greenhead, shortly before reaching it’s highest point at Winshield Crags (345m). The route is up and down, with a total elevation gain of 2,410m across the four days. We will cover an average of 23 miles on the trail per day.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For a century they’ve helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression. The work they do is life-changing and often life-saving.

Your donation has the power to help veterans tackle the past so they can take on the future.

Just £25 could fund a veteran's call to our 24-hour Helpline and help ensure we are there for veterans 24/7; £75 can pay for an individual session with an occupational therapist, and £290 can cover the cost of an online appointment with a Psychotherapist.

Thank you so much for supporting me and helping Combat Stress take vital steps towards ensuring all veterans can get the support they need. It is truly appreciated.
