Corps Coast to Coast
Monday 18th MarIn September 2024 (18th-21st), I will be joining the Corps Security hikers in undertaking a 4 day, 149km / 92.5 mile trek, from coast to coast – all in aid of Combat Stress. The event will be attended by employees, clients, and suppliers of Corps Security.
Starting on the beach of Bowness-on-Solway, we will walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall, and to our final destination of Whitley Bay. The route will cross the Pennine Way at Greenhead, shortly before reaching it’s highest point at Winshield Crags (345m). Don’t let this fool you though, the route is up and down the whole way, with a total elevation gain of 2,410m across the four days. We will cover an average of 23 miles on the trail per day.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I am taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
