Manchester to London Ride for Combat Stress

Between the 11th and 12th of October I will be attempting to ride 376KM from the Manchester Cenotaph to the Cenotaph War Memorial in London. 

When I was 'actively encouraged' by my colleagues they explained that it would all be down-hill because Manchester is higher on the map than London.   

I'm now doubting this..... and also my choice of friends :-) 

Having not been on my bike for over 2 years and with only 7 weeks to train, I hope you'll proffer a few pounds to acknowledge my training efforts... let alone the ride.
