Support my March in March on 31st March 2022
As a former RM Officer who served for 31 years and as Trustee of the charity for more than 17 years, I am only too acutely aware of the devastating and sometimes fatal effects of severe PTSD.
Therefore, once again and for the 5th year running I will be taking part March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans particularly for online therapy treatment. My plan is to do a 10 miler stretch of the Thames Path from Kingston to London with a team from Combat Stress and friends.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
Last year, I raised nearly £3000 for this most worthy cause and want to go one better this year and for the final time.
Thank you so much for your support. Please help me reach my target of £3500.
