Do your bit for a good cause

At some point in our lives, we have all experienced stress or challenges with our mental health. For those in civilian life, it can be difficult to imagine the impact that combat situations have on a person’s mental wellbeing, or the lasting effects that can remain long after returning home.
For me, pushing myself to hike, walk, and cycle to raise awareness of these issues—and to raise money through the generous donations of family and friends—is a positive step. It also gives me the added benefit of the physical and mental boost that comes from regular exercise. So warm heart felt thanks to you all. I'm hoping to target 40 to 50 miles over March.
Getting off my ass for a good cause
For me , this charitable event struck a cord. I have great respect for people who choose to serve their country. Is shows a great respect for society and demonstrates their values and beliefs and selfless actions. If I can someway contribute to support them when in need and get my ass into gear to do more exercise. That's a win win! I'm going to walk every week March . I will keep a track of my progress through this blog.Support my March in March
This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
