Why !!

Why did I do this ? Service men and women enter a different world from the civilian one .. Different way of life , different rules , different laws,  different way of doing things .. Many leave like me with a good luck have a nice life .. But many have hidden demands,  in fact most people would never know , because were really good at hiding things!! We keep every thing locked in an internal safe marked trauma and nightmares
. But these demons escape and can turns someone's life on its head... Some have a good support network and can talk it over and get help .Many don't,  it gets bottled up because Service personnel are tough and can handle anything !!! No not the case !! Imagine a dark tunnel with no light in sight . Some can call on an invisible resolve to pull themselves out ,, some heartbreakingly only leave this place when they can take no more of life .. It's a very complex thing that most won't even talk about , so if someone who has suffered opens up to you please believe that person trust's you and see's you as a safe place ,, so please don't betraye that trust !! You see lots of things about be kind you don't know what someone is going through!! So please make sure you are , even if your going through your own troubles . So if by doing this and raising some funds for the unseen trauma and 1 person gets the help they need then it's all worth it !! Thank you ..

I go again .

To celebrate me becoming an O.A.P at the end of March,, yet again I'm taking to the hills to raise awareness and hopefully much needed funds for this charity who has helped so many service personnel through some very dark times in there life's.. Some talk the talk,  few walk the walk !! Thank you 😊

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
