Somehow I have deleted the previous update!!

This last week saw me complete my extended challenge and link in with a local group who were also fundraising out of Rushden.

So:
My main challenge was 100k (60 miles) over 4 weeks (Mon -Fri) and the link with the Rushed 'lads' of 10 miles on Saturday 29th March.
In total I have done 70 miles for this challenge, but more importantly, as I write this, £1259.00 has been raised: so grateful to you all.

Week 1

Well that's week 1 done, although I had to do Sunday instead of Thursday!! So 5 days, 25km, each day, each under 60 mins. This week has been on a treadmill and it's harder than actually doing it on the road. 

Please Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

My son proudly served with 4Rifles and witnessed many things whilst on tour, a lot of which many of us have never experienced, or would want to.

I am personally increasing the challenge to 5k per working day (Mon -Fri) for the 4 full weeks in March, challenging myself and hopefully increasing funds raised. This will result in 100k during March. I am 67 years of age.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
