Reasons

I am doing this 10 mile run because my family are entrenched in the world of the British armed forces, my mothers dad was a Sgt in the royal Air force and participated in the nuclear tests on Christmas island, my fathers father was a member of the British army. And my father was a Sgt ad did 30 years in the RAF and now further works for a contractor, my mother worked in a civilian capacity in many roles including the NAAFI in west Germany and as a civilian worker for the army bomb disposal.

Given the deep rooted connections I feel to our servicemen and woman, I cannot stand idly by while we lose more each year due to suicide and combat stresses. All our ex servicemembers and all our current service members deserve the best possible chance to recover and lead amazing lifes which they have allowed us to live through their sacrifice.

Please donate whatever you can every pound matters, every veteran matters. We can do this together.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
