Newgale Sands to The Farmers Arms St Davids

Walking with Justin and Simon on a sunny Saturday with the promise of a pint at The Farmers Arms. Thanks to all who have got the total to £1,095 will it get to £1,250 one can dream and there's one walk to go.

Sunny Saturday around Solva

This walk took me from Solva via Whitchurch, Middle Mill King Heriot, Hendre Cross, Parc Hall, Middle Mill and back to Solva Harbour a big figure of eight 10.4 miles in 1hr 40 mins.

Along the Long Lane

I completed the second of my four walks in March last Saturday. It was thirteen and a half miles so I started early to be home in time for the rugby.

Yesterday Gwyl Dewi (St Davids Day) I started my first of four March in March walks this month.  The Combat Stress target was 10 miles but I intend to do one a week as a huge thank to all who have sponsored and encouraged me. I am so grateful to be able to do this.  My walk with pictures is featured below.

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need. Two years ago in May I walked 100 miles for the same cause and continue to work at a local level supporting veterans through The VC Gallery Charity.  Most veterans leave the Services and go on to lead happy fulfilling lives but others are left with both physical and mental wounds, making civilian life very difficult. They need all the help they can get so please support me in this if you are able.
