My Story

Hi Everyone,
only One(1) month to go until I step up for veterans like myself.

I'll be marching, as a thank you to Combat Stress for all they do for UK Military Veterans.

I served in the British Army for 26years Regular & Reserve Service but CPTSD symptoms started to re-surface into my life recently triggered by an event at work.

I had vivid flashbacks, trouble sleeping and what felt like traumatic nightmares often causing me to kick out.
Finally, it all became too much, and I felt unable to go on but realised I needed help.

I took the first & handed step of self referring myself to OpCourage The NHS Mental Health service for Military Veterans.

Thankfully life is different now, but I know that if it hadn’t been for OpCourage and other military charities such as Combat Stress I wouldn’t be here today.

By taking part in March in March you will help fund the specialist treatment and my decision again to support Combat Stress who provide to veterans.
I can say from previous experience the difference they and others make.

So far I've raised £327 towards my current target of £500 and my fundraiser page has been viewed 99 times.

I Wish Again to thank everyone for your kind generosity to all those that have already donated.

Your Support Is Inspirational and Really Means The World To Me!

This March, I'm taking on The March in March: 10 miles carrying kit in support of military veterans like myself iving with Trauma related CPTSD & PTSD.

Please Support my 2026 March in March

Welcome To My Blog Update,

Well So Far I've Raised An Amazing £338 towards my £500 Target.

My Page Has Been Viewed Over 116 Times.

This year I Have Become An Armed Forces Network Service Champion.

I've decided I will be taking on The 2026 March in March again next month to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for Military Veterans like myself.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health and a cause I feel very strongly about.

For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and Complex & Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.(PTSD)

I'm currently undergoing EMDR treatment myself for CPTSD so I know how much this means so please make a kind donation.

You Really Will Make A Difference!

Today, they provide support to veterans from every service who have served in 19 different conflicts.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your moral support and if you haven't yet, please donate it really means the world!
