March in March

Hi! Combat Stress is a very personal charity, my Father and Grandfather are both Veterans and I couldn't be prouder!
My Dad, a 59 Commando Royal Engineer Veterans, is a brilliant human! I great and loving Dad and the best Grandad ever!
My Grandad, A Fleet Air Arm & REME Veterans, was my best friend. Sadly we lost him September last year, and while grief is still strong, I wanted to do something that would mean alot to him. Combat Stress was a Charity he love and so I do this for all those who have served.

My 10 miles will happen in one day, 21st March at St Swithins Church in Bridport, where a treadmill will be set up in the church all so supporters can come and go. A bake sale will happen to raise additional funds. St Swithins is where my Grandfather is laid to rest and where my grandparents where married.
I also work in our County Hospital, and often care for veterans and now I want to show just how much their service means.

For all Veterans, this is for you! Thank you!

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

My Father is a 59 Commando Royal Engineer Veteran and my late Grandfather, who I sadly lost this September, a Fleet Air Arm and REME Veteran. Combat Stress is a charity close to my family's heart, My Grandfather being an active fundraiser even in his passing. This is my way to say thank you.

I will run 10 miles on 21st March starting at St Swithins Church in Bridport, where my Grandfather is laid to rest, and return there for a big celebration after. I am hoping to make this an event of awareness, fundraising and community with all Veterans welcome.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
