Edale Skyline Challenge Completed
We finally did it!!! We completed the 30km plus walk in 10 hours today, in the wind, rain and sunshine. Stunning scenery, bracing fresh air ruled the day. It really was a challenge! For me at least! Erin completed the walk with ease like a young gazelle. Thank you so much to all of you lovely and generous folk who recognised a worthy charity cause and were kind enough to donate.Rescheduled sponsored walk
Due to a very unfavourable weather forecast for Saturday 6th May (50 miles per hour winds!!!💨) our Skyline Challenge has had to be cancelled, very sadly. We’re walking with an organisation called Large Outdoors and they have deemed it too hazardous to be done on that date. The good news is that we’ve rescheduled for 8th June so that Erin will have completed all her exams at that point!I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
