Endure to raise
As an Army veteran, I know firsthand the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces. That's why I'm undertaking a Treadmill 12 challenge at Puregym North Harbour on Sat 27 Jan 24 and participating in Endure 24 Reading, taking place on June 8th - June 9th 2024, to raise funds for Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. Combat Stress has been helping former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems for over a century. They provide vital support to those suffering from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones, and that's why Combat Stress is so important.
I'm on a mission to raise awareness about this issue and show that we can all make a difference. To do my part, I'll be tackling my own physical and mental barriers by running 5km each hour for 12 hours on the treadmill in January and in June as many laps of the 8km trail as possible in 24 hours. But I can't do it alone. I need your help to raise as much as possible for this crucial charity. Your donation, however small, will be a massive boost to both me on my 12 and 24 hour journeys and those Military Veterans in need of support.
I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
