I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

I try to raise money every year for charity through an event that challenges me mentally and physically.

Last year I completed a variation of Goggins' 4x4x48 challenge, where I replaced the 4 mile run with an unweighted Murph workout (1 mile run / 100 pull ups / 200 press ups / 300 squats / 1 mile run). It was really difficult.

I'll be taking it further this year and doing the workout 'in full': with a 20lbs weighted vest. I'm anticipating this to be a lot harder, but feel optimistic!

I've decided to raise money for Combat Stress - a leading charity in providing mental health support to veterans. It's a worthy cause and I implore you to take some time on their website to learn about the work they do.

Here's a summary:

"Combat Stress are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century, they’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

They’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they’re there to help them tackle the past and take on the future."

Thanks for reading and for your support. Wish me luck...

Starting time TBC. I will post once I know, and will post regularly throughout.
