Right... Let's up it a little

So... Sponsorship is quite low and feel like more interest will come if I'm likely to suffer more... So, as said previously I'll do the 10miles in one hit. Now I'll do the 10miles with a 25kg pack (plus drink and snacks 😁). If I hit £250 I'll pick a more difficult route (suggestions welcome), if I hit £500 I'll add a mile on for every £50 over. Now time to start training carrying the weight. Let's see if we can kick this up a gear.

Starting easy

So we're 2 weeks in. Doing walks with Jo just easy 1.6 mile strolls. Walked to get Alice from school on Tuesday which was a nice 2 mile route. Might start adding weight to this to make it interesting.

Time to sort some things.

So I need to plan a route. First thoughts were starting at the Wirral Hundred pub, do a route that ended there also. But I'm open to sensible suggestions (if accompanied by a donation 😉) for maybe something more challenging. Last 2 shifts then some time off so will have a go and see where I think I'm at for March. Got some other ideas but first need that base line.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
