Daniel Vaughan

Hi

I've been extremely fortunate to get a lot of support recently I'm dealing with my mental health and addiction issues. I'd like to give back while I'm still working on myself.

I did Cambrian Patrol once and its one of the proudest achievements if not the only one I have from my time in the army. I really enjoyed being out in the Black Hills, Sennybridge in Wales, exposed to the elements with no way out, my own gear and another lads radios, couldn't hack it and no one else volunteerd so I had to just crack on. I'd guess like 60-70kgs in my bergen at least, two days of mad shit, like a nap here and there. A river crossing in Wales! Assaults on buildings, casualty evacuation and to top it off after being the most tired I've ever been in my life. They ask me random questions, nearly interrogation about stuff the past few days and to finish they checked you all had the vital equipment you came with and the litter.

So yeah I think it might be good for me to stick a bergen on, get out in nature and walk some distance in remembrance and support.

If anyone would be kind enough to donate I will do one extra mile for each donation. Starting at 10 Miles

Thanks

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
