UPDATE:- WE DID IT YAY. completed the 1200KM 4 days early. way to go team.......
This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
I am part of a 5 strong team called "One Step Beyond", collectively we as a team are looking to accumulate approximately 1200KM between us. This is the equivalent to walking from John O'Groat's to Lands End and a little bit more.
During the month we will be set team challenges on top of the walking and every day life.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
I appreciate lots of people ask for donations for so many amazing causes. Every penny counts for everyone, but if you can dip your hand in your pocket for a quid or two it will soon mount up and I would be so very grateful. x
