Farnborough Half - A good tester?
I ran the Farnborough Half Marathon today, nicely timed as a good tester to see how the training is going. I came home in 1:34, my fastest time for 13 years. Feeling very happy with that, lots of hard work to go before London though! Here we go!
Training has got off to a great start, getting some great mileage in. The first big test is Farnborough half on 8th Feb. Aiming for 1hr 35. Will be my fastest for about 12 years...let's see how we go!Support my challenge
This year I will be taking on the London Marathon to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
