Support my 'March in March' challenge

This year I have decided to take part in Combat Stress' "March in March" to help aid veterans and their families with vital, life-changing mental health support.

Veterans mental health is an incredibly overlooked subject not just in the UK but around the world. After returning from service many veterans are faced with serious mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and PTSD making the transition to civilian life even more difficult. In 2021 alone there were 253 suicides among UK armed forces veterans in England and Wales, accounting for 4.9% of all suicides in individuals aged 16 and over (Office for national statistics). This statistic needs to change.

Charities such as Combat Stress offer potentially life saving support for our retired servicemen and women, and help with a variety of mental health issues. All donations will go towards giving veterans and their families the support and recognition they deserve. Any donations big or small could make a huge difference to the lives of our brave armed forces personnel.

Thank you for your support, and together we will march on.
