I'm running the Manchester Marathon 27
In April 2027, I will be taking on the Manchester Marathon. This will be my first ever marathon and has been lifelong goal to complete.
However, I am not doing this marathon just for a personal achievement, I am from an Armed Forces family and as a result I want to support a charity that can do good for those who have served.
Here's a little bit about the charity and work they do.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and servicewomen deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on the marathon to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans and to ensuring all future veterans can have somewhere to get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
