Charity Walk Final Update - Pushing through the Challenges

Our journey to support Combat Stress has had its ups and downs, but we’re still going strong! Unfortunately, we had to abandon our Dartmoor camping due to a team member getting an injury, but that didn’t stop us, Despite the setback, we still covered 16 miles before returning to London.

Determined to make up for lost ground, we hit the streets of London yesterday and smashed out an incredible 20 miles in a single day, and we have had fun raising money for this cause and answering peoples questions as we go.

Dartmoor Walk Update – Tougher Than Expected

Today’s walk into Dartmoor from Tavistock was more challenging than expected, we anticipated covering 10 miles today and only managed to make it 5 total, with the uneven ground and relentless inclines and also lugging around 32kg in kit each makes me glad to be taking the weight off for the night.

Dartmoor is as stunning as ever and albeit a shorter distance covered, looking forward to getting more done and seeing more of this amazing area of Britain.

We will be taking on a 3-day wild camping challenge in Dartmoor National Park, walking at least 10 miles a day with all of our kit picking a new place to camp each night, all to raise funds and awareness for Combat Stress – a charity that provides life-changing support to veterans suffering from mental health issues like PTSD.

Through this challenge, I hope to bring attention to the incredible work Combat Stress does, helping veterans to reclaim their lives after service.
