This month, our Public Services students have been raising funds and awareness for Combat Stress by taking part in a 10‑mile run, walk, or tab. We had an incredible turnout, with 86 students and staff completing the challenge. It took place on the athletics track next to the college over 2 days. They have covered 860 miles and raised £3886, as of 24th March 26.
The event has been a brilliant way to promote resilience, teamwork, and community spirit while supporting such an important cause for veterans.
Our students chose Combat Stress because they are passionate about the wellbeing of serving and former members of the armed forces, and they were keen to contribute to a charity whose work makes a real difference.
