We're proud to share the inspiring story of Steven Bradley, an Army Veteran who is taking on the formidable 44-mile D-Day Challenge to raise funds for Combat Stress.
Steven, who served in the British Army, is passionate about supporting his fellow veterans and ensuring they can access the mental health support they need. His dedication to this cause has seen him step up for an extraordinary physical feat, retracing the steps of the D-Day landings in honour of those who came before—and to help those who are struggling today.
As well as being a veteran, Steven is a Freemason and a member of the Magiovinium Lodge. His Lodge has been instrumental in supporting his fundraising efforts, helping to raise awareness and donations for our work. Their commitment didn’t stop there: thanks to their support, a further grant was secured from the Buckinghamshire Provincial Lodge—demonstrating how powerful collective action can be in making a real difference.
We were recently invited to attend the Buckinghamshire Provincial Lodge Charity Day, where Steven and members of the Lodge hosted a fantastic event to celebrate the impact of their fundraising. It was a pleasure to be there alongside them, sharing more about the work we do and how the funds raised will directly support veterans in need of our specialist mental health services.
We’re incredibly grateful to Steven, the Magiovinium Lodge, and the Buckinghamshire Provincial Lodge for their generosity, commitment, and compassion. It’s thanks to supporters like them that we can continue to help veterans rebuild their lives.
