This year myself and 11 colleagues from GTC upped the ante and complete an extra 10 miles on top of the 20 miles we did the past 2 years.
All 12 of us set off @ 0630hrs and completed the 30-mile distance, from Whitstable to Cliffsend, in 9hrs and 15mins.
We also had a support team made up of fibre optic engineers from our company, 3 of which are veterans who volunteered to keep us fed and watered along the route.
A great day was had by all with the currently donated amount @ £3,503 pounds with some more due to come in soon.
Until next year..... and no, we are not doing 40 miles 😆
