We’re pleased to recognise Michael Horn as our Fundraiser of the Month for July – and his incredible effort in the XTERRA Snowdonia Ultra Marathon speaks for itself.
Michael took on the XTERRA Snowdonia Ultra Marathon, a gruelling endurance event set in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. With temperatures soaring, the 57km course proved too dangerous to complete in full. Organisers were forced to shorten the route – but that didn’t stop Michael from pushing on and completing an incredible 45km across one of the UK’s toughest landscapes.
Running in extreme heat across rugged terrain is no easy feat, but Michael’s determination never wavered. His challenge wasn’t just about testing his limits – it was about raising vital funds and awareness for veterans’ mental health.
We’re so grateful for Michael’s commitment and resilience. Every step he took helps ensure that former service personnel struggling with their mental health can access the support they need and deserve.
Thank you, Michael – your efforts are making a real difference.
