Chelsey's March in March for Adam

28 Mar 2026

This year, I completed my 10 miles in memory of my brother, Adam Hosford. Adam served in the Army with the Royal Dragoon Guards and sadly, took his own life.

The 28th of March marked both his birthday and the 10-year anniversary of his passing, so taking part in March in March felt especially meaningful. In his honour, I completed a 10-mile trail run and with officially tracked races, reached a total of 28 miles across the month.

While it’s always an emotional time, being part of March in March gave me a real sense of purpose and it felt like a powerful way to celebrate Adam’s life, not just remember his loss. Knowing that it also supports such an important cause and one that could have saved my brother, I made every mile even more worthwhile.

March will always mean so much to me, but this experience has helped me carry that meaning in a stronger, more hopeful way so thank you!
