I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

On The 12th October this year I will be competing in a 33 mile Ultramarathon Across Snowdonia National park (Eryri). This will start on the coast in North Wales and over the course of the 33 miles with a total elevation of 6300 feet will end with an ascent and decent of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) with a time limit of 11 hours. This will not be an easy task just 10 days before my 52nd birthday but will be aiming to complete it in the best possible time.

Anyone close to me will know that Combat Stress are a Veterans charity that I have personally used myself and I am so grateful for the support they gave me. Therefore if you could give any small amount towards this fantastic cause it would be very much appreciated.

I will try and keep everyone updated on my training progress and the event itself through social media.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Thank you so much for your support.
