I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
After the success of our previous campaigns, covering 10 and then 12 miles, Amber (Age 8) and her Dad are planning to walk 15 miles over January 2026 to raise money for Combat Stress, a wonderful charity who helps UK Armed Forces Veterans with mental health needs.
Amber is going to be breaking the distance down into small segments to total 15 miles, and we'll probably be bringing Baxter, our Labrador, along for the exercise too.
Ambers Dad, Sam, is a Veteran himself and has a history of representing injured service personnel in compensation appeals, with a large majority of his work involving complex mental health injuries.
Amber is super excited to take on this challenge and has already suggested upping the distance... In addition, this year Amber is also using all her hard work to put towards her charity badge at Brownies!
We understand that times are tough for all, but any help you can give us in trying to got meet your target would mean so much!
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
