Please Support my D-Day Challenge
In honour of my Grandfathers and current servicemen who have sacrificed their youth, lives and quality of life for others, I will be taking on the D-Day Challenge to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Taking part in the D-Day Challenge, I will be heading to Normandy, and on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, 6 June 2024, I will race 22 miles across the landing beaches, starting at Arromanches, where one of my Granddads landed with the Royal Navy, and finishing at the historic Pegasus Bridge.
I've never run more than 5K in my life so this is going to be a massive challenge for me that's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
