How much is it to take part?
All participants pay a £170 registration fee. Participants then choose between payment Option 1 and Option 2.
Option 1 - Minimum Sponsorship
You only pay a £170 registration fee but commit to raising a minimum of £1,400. We ask that you raise 50% of the £1,400 target by Monday, 24th March 2025, ten weeks before the challenge. This ensures that your tour costs can be covered. If you are unsure that you will be able to achieve this, please note that you can change payment options before this date.
Option 2- Self-Funding
You pay a £170 registration fee, plus £650 for the balance of your travel cost, your fundraising target will be £750. Travel payment will be organised by our event organisers Classic Challenge. You will be sent an invoice late March and full travel payment will be due by Friday, 4th April 2025. Please aim to reach your £750 fundraising target before departure.
Is travel and accomodation included?
This four-day package includes return transport from London, three-nights’ accommodation, all meals, including a pasta party the night before and full medical and event support.
The trip departs from London Victoria at around 06:15 on the 5 June and returns at 18:00 on the 8 June. Participants will have to arrange their own transport to the pickup and drop off location in London Victoria.
*Please be aware, these are based on 2024 timings and may be adjusted slightly.
What is the accommodation like?
You will be staying in static cabins located in a campsite.
All participants will be sharing a cabin with two other people - one double room, one twin room. There will be limited accomodation with fewer people available upon request, there will be a supplement for this option.

Participants must be over the age of 16 to take part. All participants who are under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.
Please note that if your friends and family want to come along to support you, they will need to organise their own transport and accommodation but we can provide you with the details of where we are staying and the times we are travelling when we have that information confirmed.
Do I need a medical declaration to take part?
All participants aged 65 years or over at the time of travel, and participants of any age who have a medical condition, must get a GP to sign a medical declaration in order to participate in the D-Day 44 Challenge.
