I'm taking part in the Combat Stress 100 Miles in May challenge

This year I will be taking on 100 Miles in May as part of Team TAB, to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans. 

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Friday 17th May
17 days, a fair amount raised!, and 94 miles smashed out in that time is unreal, way ahead of target and I’m going to continue to aim to keep it that way. 

Thanks everyone for your support throughout the charity work and taking time to contribute and make a real change.

Tuesday 14th May
70 miles in after today I think we will hit 76 miles!, doing well, I am genuinely knackered nowadays getting up in the mornings after smashing 4 milers consistently with walking miles as well, but it’s great to be raising money, getting the support doing so whilst doing it and giving back to veterans.

Day 7-8 update - 51 miles!

Thursday 9th May
Hey everyone!

Doing great with the miles after walking and running twice a day! 

I covered over 8 miles yesterday this was walking in the morning followed with a further 5 mile run! And then an extra mile walk afterwards. 

Today 4 miles due to working late today.

Great to be out smashing the miles getting fitter doing so, running doesn’t even hurt my legs anymore!

Day 5-7 update

Tuesday 7th May
Guys, well done on donating sharing and raising awareness so far for combat stress veterans and helping to get their lives back on track.

We are at 38 miles flying! We have also raised 437.65 pounds that is half of my teams target in a team of one! Bear in mind I’m already over my own target. 

Let’s keep it going and push on. I may use today as a rest day due to being ahead of target and in Wales on a driving detail. We will see what time I arrive home.

Saturday 4th May
30 miles down in 4 days absolutely flying on this stuff.

Caught a honking cold of the Mrs too lol, still not giving in though covered 9.5 miles today absolutely hanging out 

Day 3 update

Friday 3rd May
We have raised nearly 400 pounds. We have covered 21 miles in 3 days. We are raising awareness properly for combat stress veterans with mental health and smashing it doing so. Massive thanks to everyone that’s done this it’s amazing.

Thursday 2nd May
6.5 miles in total completed today , 3 walking and 3 and a half running roughly. 

Safe to say I’m starting to feel it already but I am taking it way above the daily limit!

Day 1- 9 miles

Wednesday 1st May
Productive day today, smashed out some serious mileage by walking around the barracks, this was then followed with a sports afternoon nearly 5 mile run! 

Feeling great and brought in a donation today which is great. 

Really good work all round.

We haven't even started yet, and already we have raised an outstanding 110 pound just two days in. 

To those supporting a massive thanks for donating your money towards a good cause... and for me to be very tired after 100 miles lol!
