4 weeks to go!

It is hard to believe it is only 4 weeks to go before we line up in Petersfield for the start of the run.   This week I managed to break the barrier of running 25km with a few hills added.  This would have seemed impossible when I started but goes to show what a steady training plan with fixed objectives can achieve.
I want to thank all the very kind and generous sponsorship and support you have offered to both Harry and myself.  We are still some way of our fundraising target of £3k but hope more sponsors will come forward as we approach the big day.
Thank you all again, it means so much not just to Harry and I but to those who have served and need Combat Stress

Support my Race to Remember

This year I will be taking part in Race to Remember to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.  Why?  Combat Stress helped me to deal with my demons and this is a way saying "Thank You".  I also want to raise awareness of the work they do and hopefully encourage other veterans to talk to them if needed.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on Race to Remember to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.  It will also be a proud day for me to be running with my son Harry!

Thank you so much for your support.
