Combat Stress- Support my challenge
This year I will be taking on the Great North Run to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen (one of those many was me) and servicewomen deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
There were moments in my life when I couldn’t see a way forward. In those moments, Combat Stress were the ones who picked me up, held me steady, and helped me find my way back. Reaching out to them admitting I needed help is the reason I’m still here today.
I owe them my life.
And I owe everything to my incredible wife and family, who stood by me when I couldn’t stand on my own.
That’s why this fundraiser matters so much to me. It’s not just charity, it’s a thank you. It’s a lifeline for someone else who might be where I once was.
Thank you, truly, for supporting this.
Every penny helps more than you know.
Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
Thanks Neil
