My target 10 mi

I'm at the halfway point

As of yesterday (14th March), I have completed 8 of the 10 miles I targeted for myself. Some days have been a challenge & the weather has made things difficult but I am pleased with my achievement so far.
To everyone who has supported me in my endeavour to raise money for this worthy cause, thank you!
Your generosity is truly appreciated.

Am I the oldest marcher in 'march in march'?

I am 94 and my mobility is not what it used to be but I am determined to raise money for this worthy cause. I spent 30 good years in the Royal Marines and have a good understanding of the trauma so many soldiers go through. I challenge any other older retired military personnel to join me on my fundraising quest.

Walking for combat stress

I am 94 years old and intend to walk 10 miles to help raise money for this worthy cause.
I started my walking before creating my page & to date (between 1st & 5th March) I have walked 3 miles.

Support my March in March

This year I will be taking on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on March in March to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support and together we march!
