Support my challenge

Hi, my name is Matthew, and I am a proud British Army veteran.

I served 12 years in the REME, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

During my service, I have known, mourned, and carried far too many friends and brothers-in-arms who have sadly lost their own personal battles with mental health. Their loss is something I carry with me every day.

In recent years, I have personally faced a severe decline in my own mental health and continue to struggle with issues that are very much tied to my service. While there is support available, I believe there is still not enough help for British veterans who are silently suffering.

That is why I am committed and driven to raise funds for Combat Stress — the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. They provide life-changing treatment for PTSD, anxiety, and depression, offering veterans a safe place to get the help they desperately need.

By donating, you are not just giving money — you are helping to save lives, restore hope, and remind veterans that they are not alone.

Thank you for standing with me and supporting those who stood for all of us.
