Manchester Marathon 2026 for Combat Stress
On the 19th April next year I’ll be running the Manchester Marathon 2026 to fundraise for Combat Stress. This brilliant charity supports and cares for the mental health of our veterans, as a military mental health nurse I couldn’t help but be moved by the incredible work they do, so I would like to do my part to help. The funds will provide vital resources to benefit over 16,000 veterans that ring the helpline annually and to those who need mental healthcare for their experiences from 15 different conflicts including Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, the Falklands and many others.
I have been massively inspired by so many friends completing marathons and I wanted to put myself through the torture of training for one (please pray for my toenails)…so if you can, please consider donating to this amazing charity, thank you!! 🏃🏼♀️🎧✨🤍
