The IM team are taking on the UK Three Peaks Challenge and help raise awareness and vital funds for Combat Stress, the leading charity supporting veterans' mental health. While the military excels in preparing personnel for the rigors of combat through extensive training, the transition to civilian life after conflict often presents significant challenges, as skills and mindset developed for warfare do not always align with the demands of reintegration and healing.
By climbing the three highest peaks in the UK—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—we will not only push ourselves physically, but also shine a spotlight on the invisible wounds of war that affect thousands of our brave veterans. Our efforts will directly contribute to funding the expert care, treatment, and support they desperately need to recover and rebuild their lives.
